Privacy Notice
Last updated: 29 June 2026
This notice explains what personal data The Agentic Economy website collects, why, and the choices and rights you have. The site is a personal publication and collects very little: essentially, optional analytics about how the site is used.
Who is responsible for your data
This website (agenticeconomytreatise.com) is published by Jeremy Allaire in a personal capacity. For questions about this notice or your personal data, contact [email protected]. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR, Jeremy Allaire is the data controller for this site.
What we collect
Analytics data (only with your consent where required)
If you allow it, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is read. This may include the pages you view, the time and duration of your visit, the site or link that referred you, your approximate location (country or region, derived from a truncated IP address), and general device and browser information. We have IP-address anonymisation enabled, and we do not use this data for advertising and do not sell it.
In the EU, EEA, and UK, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google until you click Accept on the cookie banner. Elsewhere, analytics run by default and you can opt out at any time via Cookie settings in the footer.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting server keeps standard access logs to operate the site securely and reliably. These may include your IP address, the request made, browser type, and a timestamp. They are used only for security, troubleshooting, and basic operation, and are not combined with analytics to identify you.
Fonts
The site loads typefaces from Google Fonts. To deliver the fonts, your browser connects to Google's servers, which involves your IP address. This is necessary to display the site as designed.
We do not run advertising, we do not have user accounts, and we do not ask you to submit personal information through forms.
Legal bases (EU / UK)
- Consent: for analytics cookies and the data they collect, where consent is required. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests: for server logs and core security, namely keeping the site available and protected against abuse.
Cookies
Details of the specific cookies and similar technologies we use, and how to control them, are in our Cookie Notice.
Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell your data. Data is processed by the service providers that make the site work:
- Google (Google Analytics, Google Fonts) may process data in the United States. Google relies on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses for such transfers.
- Our hosting provider: stores server logs to operate the site.
How long we keep data
- Analytics: retained by Google Analytics for up to 14 months, then automatically deleted.
- Server logs: kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting, then rotated and deleted.
- Your consent choice: stored in your browser (see the Cookie Notice) until you clear it or it expires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected].
If you are in the EU, EEA, or UK and believe your data has been handled improperly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across all sites using Google's browser opt-out add-on.
Children
This site is intended for a general, professional audience and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above, and where appropriate we will ask you to renew your cookie choices.
